A 50-km-long traffic jam was seen on the Chandigarh-Kullu highway on Thursday after heavy rains and multiple landslides damaged various portions of the highway. Visuals showed hundreds of trucks carrying fruits and vegetables to Delhi-NCR stuck on the highway. Truck drivers said that items worth crores of rupees are rotting, with around ₹50 crore of apples stuck on the route.
