Several images showing alleged food safety and hygiene violations at Mumbai's iconic ice cream outlet, K Rustom, have emerged. The visuals show rats, houseflies and unhygienic conditions at the outlet. The Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration also found broken cold chain operations, expired products and failure to maintain records, following which it suspended K Rustom's food business licence.
