Pics show the only total solar eclipse of 2026

Photographs of the year's only total solar eclipse emerged on Wednesday from Greenland, Iceland and northern Spain. It marked mainland Europe's first totality since 1999, while Spain witnessed its first in more than a century as millions gathered to watch. Totality lasted about two minutes overall, falling to around a minute in Spain as the eclipse coincided with sunset.
