An audio recording of an Alaska Airlines plane's cockpit has surfaced documenting the moment an off-duty pilot, Joseph Emerson, tried shutting off the plane's engines in 2023. Emerson, accused of attempting to crash the plane, was allegedly "high on magic mushrooms" and said he was in a "dream". The plane's out-of-breath pilot later sought an emergency landing in US' Portland.
