Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) on Monday cancelled the ₹750 crore tender for mechanised road sweeping project. "We'll redo the proposal and put it before the civic general body for approval," said PCMC Commissioner Shravan Hardikar. This came after BJP corporator Seema Savale flagged attempts by politicians to grab the tender through proxy contractors, reported the Indian Express.
