Following his election to the Parliament for a third term, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal has been reappointed as the Leader of the House in the Rajya Sabha. The BJP has communicated its choice to the Rajya Sabha Chairman, Venkaiah Naidu. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had appointed Goyal as the leader of the Rajya Sabha in 2021.
