A franchise store sued Pizza Hut in US after the latter's AI-powered delivery management system 'Dragontail' caused $100-million (₹960 crore) losses. Chaac Pizza Northeast, which operates 111 Pizza Hut restaurants, claimed Dragontail increased delivery times from 30 minutes (for 90% of orders) to 45 minutes (for 50% of orders). Pizza Hut also ignored requests for support, Chaac alleged.
