A Taban Airlines passenger jet, which was bound to the city of Tabas from Tehran, crashed after taking off from the Mehrabad airport in Tehran, on Sunday morning. Iran's official news agency, Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) reported the death of over 40 passengers, including 7 children. The agency also reported that the plane crashed due to engine shutdown.
