A Russian plane carrying 233 people on board made an emergency landing in a cornfield on the outskirts of Moscow on Thursday after hitting a flock of birds. The birds got into both of the plane's engines and caused a malfunction, Ural Airlines said. Twenty-three passengers, including five children, received injuries and were hospitalised, Russia's Health Ministry said.
