Tesla CEO Elon Musk has announced Tesla has dropped its plans to produce Model S Plaid+, a variant of its Model S Plaid that can go from 0-100 kmph in 1.99 seconds. "Plaid+ is cancelled. No need, as Plaid speed is just so good," Musk tweeted. Earlier, it was reported that Tesla had stopped accepting orders for the Plaid+ version.
