Indian Railways on Tuesday increased prices of platform tickets from ₹10 to ₹50 at 250 stations in the country to minimise the footfall at the stations amid rising cases of coronavirus. An official said that the Western Railways has increased the platform ticket fare to ₹50 in six Divisions - Mumbai, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Ratlam, Rajkot and Bhavnagar till further orders.
