Playboy Founder Hugh Hefner has an endangered rabbit species named after him, which is the Sylvilagus Palustris Hefneri. He has also previously funded field conservation research to save the rare marsh rabbits. Hefner, who released the first issue of Playboy magazine featuring Marilyn Monroe in December 1953, turned 91 on Sunday.
