The Los Angeles Playboy Mansion belonging to Playboy Founder Hugh Hefner has officially been sold for $100 million to his neighbour Daren Metropoulos, a principal at private equity firm Metropoulos & Co. The mansion, which was initially listed for $200 million, was purchased by Playboy in 1971 for a reported $1.1 million. Hefner will continue to live in the mansion.
