An ex-bus driver of Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation had written a letter to PM Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind, requesting euthanasia for him. He's said to have been fired from BMTC after officials suspected him to have participated in a transport strike. "[Getting] fired means my [children] have fallen out on...street...[I've] no choice, please euthanize me," he wrote.
