Plucking nose hair is riskier than it looks: Experts

Removing nasal hairs by root (plucking or waxing) breaks the skin inside the nostrils, creating open wounds. This increases risk of folliculitis, nasal vestibulitis or deeper infections because bacteria enter more easily. Experts cited by Dr Nitish recommend trimming over plucking to protect delicate mucous membranes and respiratory health.
