PM Modi announced the commencement of ‘Somnath Swabhiman Parv’ and shared pictures of his previous visits to temple. "A thousand years ago, in January 1026, Somnath Temple endured first attack in its history," he wrote on X, adding, "numerous assaults that followed thereafter couldn't shake our eternal faith. On the contrary, these strengthened the sentiment of India's cultural unity."
