While campaigning in Kerala, PM Narendra Modi requested a Feng Shui-style crystal lotus paperweight after seeing it at an event in Pathanamthitta. He wished to have a similar piece sent to Delhi. The lotus paperweight had 16 petals, and it spun while fixed to a surface. Organisers reportedly bought two such paperweights from a shop in Thiruvalla for the PM.
