Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday congratulated Giorgia Meloni for leading her party, Fratelli d'Italia, to victory in the Italian general elections. "We look forward to working together to strengthen our ties," PM Modi tweeted. Meloni, who is on course to become the country's first female PM, is expected to form Italy's most right-wing government since World War Two.
