PM Narendra Modi, during his visit to Trinidad & Tobago, attended dinner hosted by PM Kamla Persad-Bissessar. He was served food on a Sohari leaf. Sharing pictures of the dinner, PM said that the Sohari leaf holds great cultural significance to the people of Trinidad and Tobago, especially those with Indian roots. Sohari leaf comes from the Calathea lutea plant.
