PM Modi gets new personal security chief

A 1981 batch Bihar cadre IPS officer Radhakrishna Kini has been appointed as the Secretary (Security) in Cabinet Secretariat to monitor Prime Minister Narendra Modi's security. Kini will be the administrative head of the Special Protection Group (SPG), which is also responsible for the security of the former Prime Ministers of India.
