PM Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated and laid foundation stone of projects worth ₹4,400 crore in Tamil Nadu's Madurai. "These projects will transform connectivity, boost the economy, create jobs, transform the lives of lakhs of people, provide better roads for farmers to reach market, easier travel for pilgrims and tourists and faster transport for businesses," PM Modi stated.
