PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the Chenab Bridge, which is the highest railway arch bridge in the world, in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. The bridge is situated at a height of 359 metres above the river, making it 35 metres higher than the Eiffel Tower. Built to last 120 years, it was constructed at the cost of ₹1,486 crore.
