Shah Rasheed Ahmed Quadri, who was conferred with Padma Shri Award, was seen thanking PM Narendra Modi during the award distribution ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan. "During Congress rule, I didn't get Padma Shri. I thought BJP govt will not give it to me but you proved me wrong," he said. PM Modi was seen laughing while reacting to the statement.
