PM Narendra Modi on Friday visited the National Martyrs' Memorial in Bangladesh's capital Dhaka and paid homage to those who died in the 1971 Bangladesh War of Independence. He also signed the visitors' book and planted an Arjuna tree sapling during his visit to the memorial. The Prime Minister's visit comes as Bangladesh is commemorating its 50th Independence Day.
