PM Narendra Modi attended 'Jhumoir Binandini' event in Guwahati, where he was seen beating traditional drums along with Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma. The event featured over 8,000 Jhumoir artists. Jhumoir is a part of Assam's tea tribes and Adivasi community's culture and its origins date back to the 19th century. PM Modi is on a two-day visit to Assam.
