TV Mohandas Pai, former CFO of Infosys, has urged PM Narendra Modi to help the middle class after the long-term and short-term capital gains tax was increased in Budget. Tagging the Finance Ministry, he wrote, "You folks have broken the trust of middle class...[They are] very angry and upset." He said previous capital gains should be exempt from increased tax.
