BJP leader Hema Malini won the Mathura parliamentary seat by over 2.9 lakh votes and said that PM Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah are the architects of this "stupendous win". Thanking BJP karyakartas for her win, she added that their "committed, tireless hard work" has made all this possible. She said, "The Opposition and Congress [are] silenced totally."
