Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the first Indian PM to preside over a United Nations Security Council meeting as India takes over its Presidency for August, ex-Indian envoy to the UN Syed Akbaruddin said. "Although this is a virtual meeting, it's still a first meeting of the sort for us," said Akbaruddin. The meeting is scheduled for August 9.
