Shiv Sena said that people are not taking lockdown seriously because Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call to applaud those fighting coronavirus gave the situation a "festive look". "When fear was starting to build up, PM asked people to clap and bang thalis (steel plates)," said a 'Saamana' editorial. "People don't fear coronavirus after Sunday evening's event", it added.
