Bangladesh's PM Sheikh Hasina on Saturday inaugurated the country's longest bridge, calling it "a dream come true" for the citizens. The 6.51-km-long bridge, which will open to the public on Sunday, over the Padma river took about eight years to build. "The bridge belongs to the people of Bangladesh. It encapsulates our passion, creativity, courage, endurance and perseverance," Hasina said.
