Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing the nation on the occasion of 73rd Independence Day, urged families to visit at least 15 new tourist destinations in India before 2022, when India marks 75 years of freedom. He added that people should visit the destinations even if there were no hotels or infrastructure as that would boost tourism in those areas.
