Pune municipal body blacklists contractor after man falls into open trench

Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) blacklisted contractor Shubham Ashok Khatode after 69-year-old Pradeep Pardeshi fell into a 10–15-foot open trench near Chitra theatre on October 17 and died. Municipal Commissioner Naval Kishor Ram ordered the ban, barring Khatode from all future civic contracts across PMC departments including roads, drainage, and water supply.
