The Pune Municipal Corporation has stepped up control measures after identifying 73 new flood-prone spots. The PMC has prepared a project report with an estimated cost of ₹250 crore and has sought additional funding to tackle the surge in flood-prone spots. Ganesh Sonune said, "We've prepared and uploaded our flood control plan for the upcoming monsoon on the PMC website."
