The Pune Municipal Corporation conducted a drill at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Boys' Hostel, following a disease outbreak last monsoon. Insecticides were sprayed, and students were screened for illnesses, with dengue tests coming back negative. Dr Rajesh Dighe stated that these hostel activities were part of a larger campaign to update citizens on mosquito identification and preventive measures.
