Congress leader and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi alleged that the decision to replace MGNREGA with the VB-G RAM G Act was taken directly by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) without consulting ministers or the Cabinet. "A one-man show is running in the country...Whatever Narendra Modi wants to do, he does it, which benefits a few capitalists," he added.
