TMC MP Saket Gokhale criticised PM Narendra Modi after the Centre called the Global Hunger Index 2023 report "erroneous". Gokhale said that the Modi-led government is in denial mode as always. He added, "Modi’s PR that hides the poor behind green curtains and denies even the existence of hungry Indians shows how the man cares about nothing beyond himself."
