Punjab National Bank (PNB) shares rose 6% after the lender reported a more than threefold jump in Q1 FY27 net profit to ₹5,253 crore. Brokerages retained their bullish stance, citing improving asset quality and healthy earnings, with target prices implying up to 22% upside. The PSU lender reported an operating profit of ₹7,519 crore for the June quarter.
