The government on Friday held a joint inter-ministerial briefing to address panic over LPG shortages amid Middle East war. Sujata Sharma, Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, said, "The supply of PNG (Piped Natural Gas) and CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) is being ensured without any interruptions and cuts." She added, "There is absolutely no need for panic."
