Police Authorities have registered the recent rape cases under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act in both shocking cases from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Telangana police also invoked provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Strict action and manhunts have been initiated against both accused men.
