Poland accidentally invaded Czech Republic in late May and briefly annexed a corner of its territory, Polish Defence Ministry has admitted. The "misunderstanding" occurred when Polish soldiers accidentally crossed into Czech Republic while guarding parts of the border amid lockdowns imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic, it said. Czech Republic said it has yet to receive an official explanation.
