Amid Russian invasion of Ukraine, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on Monday accused Poland and NATO of attempting to dismember Ukraine. "What worries us is that...the Poles and NATO [are ready] to...take western Ukraine like it was before 1939," he added. Parts of western Ukraine were under Polish rule at different times in the past, most recently between two world wars.
