The police arrested five students of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) on Tuesday night, charging them with unlawful assembly, rioting, wrongful restraint and criminal intimidation. Earlier, some students had gheraoed the institute's director Prashant Pathrabe on Monday to protest against alleged "irrational and unjustified" evaluation of some incomplete diploma projects.
