A 23-year-old man died after being detained by police in Bihar's Kaimur district over suspicion that he is drunk. The man was on his way to hospital following a snake bite. The family of the victim alleged that police demanded ₹2,000 and kept him under custody for three hours until they offered ₹700 to them. However, police denied the claims.
