Gautam Buddha Nagar Police fined nearly 1,800 people and collected ₹1.81 lakh in fines in a one-hour drive on Thursday morning amid COVID-19. Greater Noida accounted for the most number of fines at 1,192, followed by Central Noida at 396 and Noida at 196. "We had reports...guidelines were not being followed in wholesale markets and mandis," police added.
