The Maharashtra police raided a training camp of Maoists in Gadchiroli district in the early hours of Saturday and killed two rebels in an encounter. The police stated, "We have destroyed a camp where at least 80 Maoists were undergoing training." They added that four firearms, detonators, pressure bombs, as well as rice and dal, were recovered from the site.
