Hyderabad Police resorted to lathicharge to disperse activists from VHP, Bajrang Dal and other Hindu organisations who were protesting over the vandalism of an idol at a temple of Goddess Muthyalamma in Telangana's Secunderabad. A video of the incident purportedly shows protesters throwing items. Protesters raised 'We want justice' and 'Jai Shri Ram' slogans, PTI reported.
