Police lathicharge students at LPU; SAD MP shares videos showing girls being dragged & hit

Punjab Police resorted to a lathi charge after students' protest at Lovely Professional University turned violent on Sunday. Meanwhile, SAD MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal has shared videos on X, saying, "Youth, especially girls, were brutally hit, dragged, abused, and pushed...by 'Men in Khakhi' who report directly to CM Bhagwant Maan." Students reportedly clashed with police and set vehicles on fire.
