A police officer, the station in-charge of Soraon police station, was suspended after a video showed him dumping ash in 'bhandara' food at Maha Kumbh. The officer was identified as Brijesh Tiwari. SP chief and former CM of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav had said, "It is unfortunate that the good efforts...in Maha Kumbh are being scuttled due to political animosity."
