Kerala ADGP has sought a report after a picture of police officials posing on the revered 18 steps of Sabarimala Temple with their backs toward the sanctum sanctorum surfaced online. As per temple traditions, even the priests descend the steps while facing the sanctum sanctorum, reports said. The photo was reportedly taken after temple doors were closed for the afternoon.
