A video has allegedly shown police removing Onam Pookalam (floral carpet/artwork made from flowers) at a temple in Kerala's Kollam. A video shared by BJP's Amit Malviya showed altercation between policemen and the locals there, as a Pookalam showed the words 'Operation Sindoor' spelt out with flowers. Malviya criticised CM Pinarayi Vijayan-led government, calling the move "appeasement" politics.
